DESCRIPTION:Emily Sablosky started the York Sanctuary after moving to York in 2017 from San Diego\, where she had been an acupuncturist\, practitioner of Chinese Medicine\, and massage therapist since 2011. Before working on ‘repairing’ people\, she repaired rare and vintage musical instruments in Gowanus\, Brooklyn\, and books at the Library of Congress in Washington DC. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Art History and French and Master’s degrees in History of Science and Traditional Oriental Medicine. \nEmily is excited to share her passion and knowledge with York City; offering acupuncture\, Chinese herbal consultation and prescription\, Thai massage\, Tui na/acupressure massage\, Chen Taiji lessons.
